Integrated Manual Therapies

Manual Osteopathy is a form of hands-on therapy that aims to restore the balance of the body and promote its natural healing processes. Based on the principle that the body’s structure and function are closely interrelated, Manual Osteopathy assesses and treats structural imbalances to support overall health.

This is accomplished by the use of several gentle techniques that focus on different bodily systems, such as:

- Osteo Articulation Techniques: help enhance alignment and joint mobility and flexibility without using any high velocity thrusts, but by gentle stretching, resistance and pressure of different joints including the pelvis, spine, and neck. 
- Soft Tissue Manipulations: manipulations of muscles to relieve tension, improve blood flow and boost toxin release.
- Cranial Osteopathy: addresses the synarthrodial joints of the skull, the sacrum and relieves tension in the cranial membranes to improve the flow of cerebrospinal fluid that support the nervous system. 
- Visceral Manipulation: involves gentle manipulations of the ligamentous/fascial attachments of the organs to improve their function. 
- Fascia Release and Remodelling: helps relieve tension in the fascia, a network of connective tissue along the body that surrounds every structure.

During the first visit, we’ll review your health history together in order for me to gain a better understanding and know how to help you more effectively. I will do a comprehensive full body assessment to identify the areas that might be contributing to your symptoms. Then we’ll proceed to the treatment, which is usually relaxing and gentle. You are fully clothed for both assessment and treatment; I recommend you wear comfortable clothes if possible.

Initial Assessment and Treatment - 75 min.

Follow-up visits allow us to continue to work towards the desired goal from the Initial Visit. Often, multiple sessions are required to achieve the best results.
Consistent self-care can prevent future issues and contribute to better overall health and wellness.

Follow-up Treatment - 60 min.

Parents/caregivers are welcomed and encouraged to stay during the entire visit of their child. On the Initial Visit we will review their health history together, followed by an assessment and treatment. 
Assessment and treatments are done fully clothed so I recommend your child wears comfortable clothing if possible. Making the little ones feel safe and comfortable during their visit is my main priority, please feel free to bring their favorite toy or book.

Children 0-12 y/o Initial Assessment and Treatment - 45 min.

Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a very gentle treatment that aims to relieve tensions deep in the body to help reduce pain, resolve dysfunctions, and improve whole-body health and performance. This is accomplished by using a very light touch around the structures that surround the central nervous system: cranium, spine, sacrum and the soft tissues that support it. 
During a CST session the body can relax and self correct; each individual can have a very unique healing experience. 

My training was done through the Upledger Institute, where I completed the four core levels, plus Pediatrics. I have furthered my learning beyond this with additional education in the Biodynamic CST approach. 

I have practiced CST for over 10 years, and I’ve been very fortunate to witness countless remarkable results with this gentle therapy. 

CST is suitable for all ages, from newborns to the elderly.

Parents/caregivers are welcomed and encouraged to stay during the entire visit of their child. On the Initial visit we will review their health history together, followed by an assessment and treatment. 

Assessment and treatments are done fully clothed so I recommend your child wears comfortable clothing if possible. Making the little ones feel safe and comfortable during their visit is my main priority, please feel free to bring their favorite toy or book.

Somatic Experiencing (SE™) is a therapeutic approach developed by Dr. Peter A. Levine, designed to help people heal from trauma and other stress-related disorders. 

SE™ is non-invasive and it’s based on the idea that trauma is stored in the body, not just in the mind. It focuses on bodily sensations rather than solely on thoughts and emotions. It avoids direct and intense exposure of traumatic memories, instead approaching them indirectly and very gradually. This is accomplished by gently guiding clients to develop increasing tolerance for difficult bodily sensations and suppressed emotions, building their capacity for containment and resilience.

Trauma may begin as acute stress from a perceived life-threat or as the end product of cumulative stress. Both types of stress can seriously impair a person’s ability to function with resilience and ease, and to live in the here-and-now. Trauma may result from a wide variety of stressors such as accidents, invasive medical procedures, sexual or physical assault, emotional abuse, neglect, war, racial discrimination, oppression, natural disasters, loss, birth trauma, or the corrosive stressors of ongoing fear, conflict, and chronic shaming.

SE™ helps restore the authentic self with self-regulation, relaxation, wholeness, and aliveness.


During the first visit we’ll review the intake form together and chat about what your goals are for your healing journey. Then we’ll proceed to treatment which can sometimes be done comfortably seated and sometimes it involves a hands-on approach, where you can lay down fully clothed and relax. We will decide together what the best approach for you is, every time.
